Applications for the 2010-2011 school year are now available! Students not zoned or currently attending Laing need to submit applications no later than December 4, 2009. Click here for more information!
Attention 8th Grade Students & Parents:
The deadline to Mrs. Fuller in Guidance for ALL magnet school applications for rising 9th graders is Monday, November 30th. 
8th Grade Algebra I students interested in applying to Academic Magnet High School - Laing will be offering the Writing Sample on Thursday, November 19th in the Media Center.  Please sign up in Mrs. Scott's classroom. 
Attention Students & Parents:
There will be a Parent Information Fair on Saturday, November 14th from 10am - 3pm where ALL Charleston County magnet and partial magnet schools have been invited to attend. If you are interested in certain schools and would like to speak with a representative from that school, please put this date on your calendar!

Laing Middle School Mission Statement

The mission of Laing Middle School is to make certain that all eighth grade students leave with the knowledge and skills to be successful and competitive in a college-preparatory curriculum and to ensure that they have a plan of study that will allow them to complete high school and prepare for future education and careers.
