Registration Information
If you are unsure if you are zoned for Laing go to the
https://croppermap.com/charleston/
Students who are currently registered at a Charleston County School and are moving to the area zoned for Laing do not have to register online. They need to notify their current school and fill out a withdrawal form. A request for records will then be sent and their Power School information will be forwarded. They will need to submit proof of residency (see below).
Students that are coming from a school that is not a Charleston County School will need to apply online under new students at the link below. You will also need to withdraw from your previous school. After you have completed the online application a request for permanent records will be sent to your previous school. You will need to provide the following:
Proof of residency (ex. mortgage Statement/tax bill/rental agreement AND water bill, phone bill (not cell phone), cable bill, car registration, current pay stub showing employer's name and name and address or parent/guardian, OR local, state or federal agency correspondence that reflect the name and address of the parent/guardian. No voter registration can be used.

- Guardianship, Custody or Caregiver documentation (if applicable)
- Proof of Immunization
- Last Report Card
- Copy of transcript
- Copy of student's schedule from previous school
- Attendance Report
- Discipline Report
- Withdrawal Form
- Copy of IEP (if applicable)
- Copy of 504 Plan (if applicable)
